¡LatinFest! is an annual Mississippi festival organized by LABALink, the state's premier Latin American Business Association. This vibrant event showcases the Latin community, celebrating its rich culture and heritage while fostering connections among people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. At its core, ¡LatinFest! takes immense pride in promoting and embracing diversity.
LABA-Link selects a non-profit organization each year to receive a portion of the festival's proceeds as part of its giving back initiative. For a second year in a row, the chosen beneficiary is MadCAAP (Madison Countians Allied Against Poverty), a cause close to heart as Madison County boasts a thriving Latin American community.
Since its inception, ¡LatinFest! has seen remarkable growth in attendance. From its modest beginnings with 100 attendees at the inaugural event, the festival experienced exponential growth, attracting over 800 guests in 2022. Although the COVID pandemic temporarily halted our annual fiesta, ¡LatinFest! is returning for its third consecutive year and eighth edition on September 28, 2024.
